Laundromat:

What are your operating hours?

We are open 07:00 AM – 09:00 PM Monday to Sunday. Yes!! We are open 7 days a week for your convenience.

How many machines do you have?

We have 26 Washers and 26 Dryers.
We have 12 machines with 15 pounds load capacity, 8 machines with 30 pound load capacity, 4 machines with 40 pounds load capacity, and 2 machines with 60 pounds load capacity.

Can I use your machines for large items like rugs, quilts, and sleeping bags?

Absolutely! We have machines that can accommodate larger items like rugs and sleeping bags. Our durable and efficient machines are designed to finish even the largest loads in about an hour!

What time is the last load permitted?

The last load must be in the washer by 07:15 PM.

What types of payments do your machines accept?

Our machines accept Coins, Loyalty Card, Debit Card, Credit Card, Tap to Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. We also have a Coin Change Machine on premise for your convenience.

Do you offer dry cleaning services?

Yes, we offer dry cleaning service with a minimum of 3 days turnaround time. Please see the ‘Pricing’ page for more information.

Do you sell laundry related items in the laundromat?

Yes, we sell detergents, softeners, dryer sheets, laundry bags, and other laundry essentials at our laundromat.

Drop Off – Wash and Fold:

What is your turnaround time for Drop Off?

We offer same day and next day service. For same day service, we have a 5 hour turnaround time; so it must be dropped off before 03:00 PM.

Is there a minimum limit on an order?

Yes, there is a $10.00 minimum limit on an order.

What type of detergents do you provide?

We offer complimentary high-quality in-house detergent and softener during your visit. Additionally, we provide baking soda and vinegar at no extra cost. Moreover, we offer a selection of premium options including Tide Detergent, Seventh Generation – Free and Clear Detergent, Downy Softener, Seventh Generation – Free and Clear Softener, and Clorox bleach for your convenience.

Do you wash large items like rugs, quilts, and comforters?

Yes, we wash large items including pillows, blankets, etc. Please see Pricing for more information.

Will you fold the clean laundry?

Absolutely! We will wash, dry and fold the clothes. After folding, we will pack them for you in a transparent plastic bag.

Pickup & Delivery:

What is your turnaround time for Pick up & Delivery ?

We have a minimum turnaround time of 5 hours for Pick up & Delivery.

Is there a minimum limit on a Pick Up & Delivery order?

Yes, there is a $30 minimum limit on an order.

When is the payment collected for the order?

The payment is collected from your card after we have completed the order.

What can I expect for the first Pickup service?

On the day/evening of your scheduled pick-up, a Laundromatic NYC driver will arrive within the designated time frame.

Please prepare your items in a bag of your choice (such as garbage bags or reusable bags). Remember to separate any stained items or those requiring special care. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate individual label washing instructions.

Be sure to thoroughly check your pockets! We are not liable for lost or damaged items resulting from items left in pockets (such as chapstick, crayons, markers, pens, lipstick, gum, etc.).

After pickup, your laundry is in our capable hands!

The following day, your driver will return everything to you at the agreed-upon delivery time. You’ll receive a text notification when your clothes are en route and another once your delivery is complete.

When will my order be returned?

Your order will be returned within the specified time frame you selected when placing your order.

Will my clothes be washed with other people's clothes?

Absolutely not! We never mix your items with anyone else’s during washing or drying. Your clothes undergo individual washing and drying processes, regardless of the load size.

Do you check the pockets?

Due to the volume of laundry we handle, our launderers cannot inspect every pocket. Laundromatic NYC cannot be held responsible for lost items or damages resulting from items left in pockets (such as crayons, pens, markers, chapstick, lipstick, etc.).

Do I need to sort my items, such as dark from lights and whites?

Certainly not! Remember, our goal is to make this process easy for you. Let us handle the sorting for you!

Do you read label instructions?

We do not have the capability to review specific washing instructions on individual labels. If you have items requiring special care, please separate them and provide instructions for our launderers in a separate bag.

How do I give special instructions for laundry?

You can mention it in the ‘notes’ section when placing the order.

Can I send our undergarments?

Certainly, when it comes to laundry, we’ve got you covered!

For clients who prefer discretion with their undergarments, you can place them inside a mesh laundry bag along with a note requesting that we wash, dry, and return them in the same mesh bag.

How are my whites washed?

We wash the whites with Baking Soda and Vinegar. We can also use Clorox upon your request.

What happens when I request Air dry?

Following the laundering of your Wash & Fold items, those designated for Air Dry will be carefully hung up to dry in a climate-controlled environment. Upon completion, they will be returned to you either neatly folded or hanging on a hanger, ensuring they maintain their freshness and quality. We can also dry them on no heat upon request.

Where should my order be picked up or delivered?

Your designated pick-up/drop-off location should be a secure area where you feel confident leaving your personal items. While preferences vary, customers commonly opt to leave their orders at their front door, porch, or within a secure gated area. Please be aware that our drivers are unable to access private spaces such as homes, apartments, vehicles, or garages.

What happens if my credit card is expired or declines?

Your credit card will be charged upon completion of your order. In the event of a declined payment (due to expiration, loss, account closure, or insufficient funds), you will receive a text notification. You can update your payment information by accessing your account or contacting us directly. Once payment is successfully processed, your order will be delivered within 24 hours.

Am I supposed to weigh my items before you pick them up?

Certainly not! We will take care of that for you using our state-of-the-art industrial weighing scale after we’ve collected your order.

Self Wash:

How much does it cost to use the self-wash machines?

Our smallest (15 Lbs) start at USD 2.75, Medium (30 Lbs) start at USD 4.25, Large (40 Lbs) start at USD 6.00 and Extra Large (60 Lbs) start at USD 8.00.

Are detergents and fabric softeners provided, or should I bring my own?

Ye, we sell a wide variety of detergents, softeners, Pods and Dryer sheets ranging from big brands like Tide, Seventh Gen (Organic free and clear) Gain, Downy, Suavitel, Roma, Bounce and many more.

Is there a bill exchanger machine on-site?

Customers can easily receive quarters (0.25) by exchanging $1, $5, $10 and $20 bills.

Can I bring my own laundry detergent, or do I have to use the ones provided?

Feel free to bring your own detergent, but just in case it slips your mind, we’ve got you covered. You can conveniently purchase detergent in-store, sparing you the hassle of making an extra trip back.

Are there instructions available for first-time users of the self-wash machines?

Every machine comes with clear instructions on how to operate, but if you have any questions, our attendants are readily available to assist you. Your convenience and satisfaction are our top priorities.

Can I leave my laundry unattended during the wash and dry cycles?

While we understand that you may choose to leave your laundry unattended, we kindly suggest keeping track of time. Please be aware that we cannot assume responsibility for any lost items, and we would sincerely regret the inconvenience of such a situation involving your precious clothing.
