Laundromatic NYC Terms and Conditions

By scheduling services with Laundromatic NYC, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Machine Washable Items: Your items should be suitable for washing with water, using a normal washing cycle, and tumble-drying in a dryer. Laundromatic NYC is not liable for damage to any clothing or laundry articles that cannot undergo this washing routine. Please note that we do not individually inspect each clothing tag for washing instructions.

Damaged Items: Laundromatic NYC cannot be held responsible for weaknesses or defects in materials that may result in tears or the development of small holes in fabric that were not readily apparent prior to washing.

Color Loss, Bleeding, and Shrinkage: Laundromatic NYC cannot guarantee against color loss, bleeding, or shrinkage, nor against damage to delicate fabrics or ancillary items such as belts, buttons, beads, ties, or zipper pulls. Our liability for damaged items shall not exceed five (5) times our charge for cleaning that garment, regardless of brand or condition.

Pocket Check: Prior to bagging your laundry, please ensure all pockets are emptied. Laundromatic NYC is not responsible for items lost in the wash or laundry damaged by items left in pockets (e.g., chapstick, crayons, markers, pens, lipstick, gum, etc.).

Reporting Damaged Items: Any damaged items must be reported via email to Laundromaticnyc@gmail.com and returned to Laundromatic NYC for inspection within 5 business days.

Contaminated Items: We cannot accept items that may pose a risk to the safety of our team and/or other customers’ items cleaned in the same facility. These include items contaminated with bodily fluids, excessive pet hair, bedbugs, poison ivy or poison oak oils, or hazardous chemical residue.

Lost Items: Lost items should be reported via email to laundromaticnyc@gmail.com within 5 business days. Laundromatic NYC will make its best reasonable effort to track the missing article. Lost items will be replaced, or if a replacement cannot be found, we will provide reimbursement of up to five (5) times the charge. Items will be considered lost 30 days after the initial claim is filed.

Pick-up/Drop-off Location: When using our concierge service, Laundromatic NYC is not responsible for your items before they are picked up or after they are dropped off. A text message will be sent when we are en route and once the items are picked up and delivered. It is your responsibility to ensure the safety of your items.

Dry Cleaning: Please note that dry cleaning orders take 5 days to process. Our liability for any damaged items during dry cleaning shall not exceed five (5) times our charge for cleaning the specific garment in question, regardless of brand or condition.

Stains: Please provide us with any special instructions, including details about how stains originated. While we will make every effort to remove stains, we cannot guarantee complete removal, as some stains may be permanent.

Minimum Order Fee: There is a $40 minimum order fee for laundry pick-up, while for customers dropping off, there is a $15 minimum order fee.
